Credit scores

Question: >I got 755-805 out of 850. The number of cards (1-9) I have seemed to be >irrelevant, although they deducted points (716-765) If I had never had a >credit card. No outstanding loans of any sort (they didn’t even ask if >the mortgage was paid off, which seems dumb), no bad credit history, >totally virtuous. So how did I lose 45 points?

Choice of bra or braless? :-)

Putting in what I thought would be the perfect answers did not result in an 850 score. Go figure.

Answer: A perfect score would suggest a 100% risk-free investment and everyone knows there’s no such thing. There’s always a non-zero chance their investment will go sour no matter how many FICO-correct answers you give.

So it probably stands to reason no one can actually achieve an 850 although the theoretical maximum could get asymptotically closer to 850 over time as they improve their prediction capabilities and are able to track more and more data about people.
