Question: Is there anybody out there with a history of bad credit with good income that was able to get a construction loan for an amount in the low to mid 200’s?
Answer: Yeah, after 6 years of tracking down every erroneous credit report, every inaccuracy, and then sitting tight and waiting for the bad stuff to be erased.
Check out PrivacyGuard (http://www.privacyguard.com). They have a service to let you get a copy of your credit report and explanations of what it shows, and what you can do to fix it or make it better.
Note that the only thing you can do about acccurate, bad stuff is to wait. There’s no way to magically erase bad credit, despite what some advertisements would lead you to believe.
