how to rebuild my credit?

Question: to rebuild. I have only qualified for a $300 Capital One card. That isn’t enough credit to be able to rent a car when I go on a trip and I fear it isn’t enough to rebuild my credit.

Answer: I got a Capital One Visa card when everyone else was turning me down. (Bad credit in the past.) They started out with $500 and have since bumped me to $1000, after I used it and paid promptly.

I believe they also have a secured card, where you can get a limit 1 1/2 times what you put in a savings account with them, and they pay pretty good interest on the savings account too. Call them to find out more. No, I don’t work for them, but have had good experience with them.
