Best online morgage company? Best deal?
Question: Like most people I’m tried of games and loan officers trying to rip me off (bait and switch, fees, etc).
What is the best broker (online) for a second mortgage or home equity loan?
Are there any websites that review mortgage companies?
My credit is probably less than perfect now because of debt, but still over all good. I would probably want to do a no-doc loan (if possible). Also, there is plenty of equity in my home.

Answer: Around here you have HOURS to make this decision or somebody else buys the house out from under you, sometimes with cash, sometimes for more than the listed price. I would guess that securing the loan might be a sensible thing to do before you call the realtor. When we bought our house 40 years ago the realtor’s loan broker was able to get the loan at .5% lower than we could have got the same loan at the same bank, but maybe it’s different now.
