Debt consolidation
Question: Does anyone have recommendations or warnings about the various debt >consolidation organizations out there? Ameridebt, Ditech, etc.? I am >looking for first hand experiences if at all possible. We need to >consolidate our credit cards, student loans, etc. and a home equity >loan will not work in our situation. I’ve heard of people who lost their homes, cars, savings, etc. because of these companies…. all they really do is add more financial hardship to your already overloaded situation.
Answer: I can’t say enough good things about the information available at: http://www.budhibbs.com Sure, it’s no debt consolidation company, but that’s the direction I was heading almost a year ago when I started following the advice on this website. I got my ass out of hot water pretty fast (less than a year).
